Virginia Circuit Court List
The license fee is $30 paid to the Circuit Court Clerk.
In Virginia there is no waiting period (the license does expire sixty days after date of issue) and blood tests are not required.
You do not have to be a resident of Virginia or be a US citizen to be legally married in Virginia.
The Greene County Clerks Office is a short 5 Minute drive from Golden Horseshoe Inn and is Open:
Monday thru Friday ~
8:15 AM to 4:30 PM
(cut-off for recording is 4:15).
They observe all State Holidays.
They recommend that you are there at the latest by 3:45 for a Marriage License.
Please get your license well in advance, if your wedding is close to a holiday date!
